The September 2026 NPI file lists 364 imaging organisations in Ohio: 151 registered under the MRI or radiology clinic codes (61, or 17%, with the MRI-specific code) and 213 diagnostic-radiology organisations classified by name. Cleveland is the largest market with 89 records, followed by Columbus (49), Cincinnati (47) and Youngstown-Warren (34). 15 records sit outside the metro areas listed below or alone in a small area; they are listed on this page.
Price context: a single-region MRI in Ohio runs $480 to $1,300 cash at a freestanding centre, which is our own estimate. At hospitals it is measured, not estimated: a brain MRI runs $224 to $2,702 cash, median $1,275 against a median gross charge of $2,489, from 57 of the 82 Ohio hospitals whose own price files we have read, out of 118 in the state, files dated to September 2026. A further 5 hospitals publish their chargemaster unchanged as a “cash price”, up to $3,267, and are not in that range. Cleveland Clinic premium; Columbus and Cincinnati competitive.
